Information obligation

Within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), the controller of personal data provided in the registration form for INVEST CUFFS, as well as personal data recorded in any other manner and provided in connection with participation in INVEST CUFFS, is the Invest Cuffs Foundation – Education and Development of Financial Markets, with its registered office in Kraków, ul. Mogilska 65, 4th floor, 31-545 Kraków, entered in the register of associations, other social and professional organizations, foundations and independent public healthcare institutions, as well as in the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for Kraków–Śródmieście, 11th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under number 000586251, NIP 6793118922, REGON 363021104.

Personal data, within the meaning of the GDPR, means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. In the case of using INVEST CUFFS services, such data include, for example, an email address, IP address, or other data provided in the registration form. Personal data may be stored in cookies or similar technologies (e.g. local storage) installed on websites and devices used while using our services offered as part of INVEST CUFFS.

The personal data provided, in particular data provided in the EXPO INVEST CUFFS registration form, are processed for the purpose of:
registering for and participating in INVEST CUFFS; data processing takes place for the period necessary to ensure participation in INVEST CUFFS; the processing of personal data of persons who have registered their participation in INVEST CUFFS takes place for the time necessary to satisfy potential claims;
providing commercial and marketing information relating to the activities of the personal data controller, including sending such information by means of electronic communication, including email, SMS and other telecommunications devices, for the period necessary to ensure the highest quality of services provided by the personal data controller.

Personal data provided in any other manner in connection with participation in INVEST CUFFS are processed for the purpose of informing about INVEST CUFFS, publishing reports on websites and social media platforms, providing press materials to the media, as well as advertising INVEST CUFFS and other future events organized or co-organized. The processing of personal data takes place for the period necessary to ensure the highest quality of services provided by the personal data controller.

Personal data may be entrusted to third parties in connection with the implementation of the purposes indicated above. Such entrustment may in particular include the use of email service providers, marketing services, legal services, IT services, as well as technical, accounting and transport services. Personal data may be entrusted exclusively to entities that declare an appropriate level of security and compliance with regulations on the protection of personal data. In each such case, the transfer of data does not authorize the recipient to use them freely, but only for the purposes explicitly indicated by the Controller. The data are not transferred outside the European Economic Area. Data may also be transferred to public authorities, provided that applicable laws authorize them to do so and they submit an appropriate request, or when the law obliges the transfer of data without a prior request, but never in any other case.

In connection with the processing of personal data, the data subject has the right of access to the content of the data, the right to rectify the data, the right to erase the data, the right to restrict processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
